Join Reference Librarian Jeff Klapes, ‘The Traveling Librarian,’ for an armchair traveler’s journey to the Mani, one of least visited parts of Greece. Far from the beaches and islands most tourists think of when imagining Greece, the mountainous Mani peninsula at the extreme south of the Peloponnese is rich in historic sites, from the ancient world and the Byzantine era, as well as isolated villages bristling with unusual stone tower houses . 

Jeff Klapes is the Head of Reference Services at the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library in Wakefield, Massachusetts, and an avid traveler.
