STEM Challenge: Penguins in Ice

Oh no--a penguin is trapped in the ice! Join Miss Megan in helping to unfreeze the penguin in this fun science challenge!

This is a virtual program that will be pre-recorded and posted on our Children's Room Facebook page, as well as our Children's Room YouTube page.

This program requires registration ONLY if you're interested in obtaining a plastic penguin figurine to freeze in your ice. If you register for this event, you will be notified when you can pick up your penguin, in time for this event. Registration for this event will open 6 days before the program is posted, in order to ensure that you have your materials in time for the program.  If you're not interested in the materials, or you want to use materials you have at home, feel free to still watch the video! 1 penguin per registration.

What You'll Need:

1 toy penguin (or small toy of some sort; legos, polly pocket, etc.)

bowl

freezer

dropper

2 small bowls

food coloring
