Spend the afternoon creating an abstract still life painting with its origins in direct observation. We’ll begin with a line drawing from a still life arrangement and then move into learning about basic color theory, different color combinations, color harmonies, value and composition. Participants will then choose their own color palette to complete their painting making informed decisions about color choices and techniques as their painting progresses. Each participant will create their own unique artwork. Please wear old clothing and/or bring a smock. Ages 14 and up. All levels are welcome!
