Open Space Hike - East Richardson Preserve

Thursday, May 166:00—7:00 PMOutdoorsMain Library28 Arlington Street, Dracut, MA, 01826

Explore local open spaces by joining a guided tour with a member of the Open Space Committee! We'll have several different hikes for teens and adults of all abilities throughout the summer and fall. Our second hike will be at East Richardson Preserve at East Richardson Road. We will leave the trailhead by 6:05pm so please consider arriving early. We also recommend taking measures to prevent tick bites, such as wearing long pants and light-colored clothing, and maybe using bug spray or other repellant.

East Richardson Preserve is the first property acquired for the sole purpose of preservation and passive recreation. There are three trails which may be combined for a total of over 3 miles over hilly forested terrain with small streams, vernal pools and overlooking the opposite side of the big Pond across from the Dunlap Preserve. Connections can be made to Proprietors Way and via Brentwood to Tranquility way.

Registration is recommended so we can notify you of any change in plans.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Offered in partnership with the Open Space Committee.
