Join the Open Space Committee and your neighbors for an exciting Summer Trail Series! Guided walks will take place at 6:00pm on the first Thursday of each month May through September. Meet at the indicated parking spot and enjoy the weather and local outdoor areas Dracut has to offer! Maps are available on the Town website under Open Space. Trail guides can be found at the Dracut Library and Town Hall lobby. Additional locations may include Dunlap, Tranquility Trail, Proprietors Way, McNamara Way, and Long Pond. Updates are posted on the Open Space Facebook page. 

This month's guided walk is East Richardson Preserve (parking at end of East Richardson Rd) East Richardson Preserve was the first property acquired for the sole purpose of preservation and passive recreation there are three trails which may be combined to a total of over 3 miles over hilly forested terrain with small streams, vernal pools and overlooking the opposite side of the big Pond across from the Dunlap Preserve.
