Join the Open Space Committee and your neighbors for an exciting Summer Trail Series! Guided walks will take place at 6:00pm on the first Thursday of each month May through September. Meet at the indicated parking spot and enjoy the weather and local outdoor areas Dracut has to offer! Maps are available on the Town website under Open Space. Trail guides can be found at the Dracut Library and Town Hall lobby. Additional locations may include Dunlap, Tranquility Trail, Proprietors Way, McNamara Way, and Long Pond. Updates are posted on the Open Space Facebook page. 

This month's guided walk is Beaver Brook Farm (parking on-site @ 761–771 Mammoth Rd.) Beaver Brook Farm boasts 1 ½ mile of trails around the fields of this recently acquired historic farm with access to Beaver Brook, and to the Dracut School complex. These trails have become popular for their views, exercise, and wildlife viewing. The farmhouse (private property) and squash barn on the property are of historic significance.
