Explore local open spaces by joining a guided tour with a member of the OpenSpace Committee! We'll have several different hikes for teens and adults of all abilities throughout the summer and fall. Our third hike will be at Yapp Farm on Marsh Hill Road. We will leave the trailhead by 6:05pm so please consider arriving early. We also recommend taking measures to prevent tick bites, such as wearing long pants and light-colored clothing, and maybe using bug spray or other repellant.

The Yapp Farm Trail is approximately ¾ mile through the wood lot of the recently acquired Yapp Farm. Starting from a newly paved lot on Marsh Hill Rd. the trail soon enters the woods., alongside a large wetland and then turns steeply up hill to parallel the hayfield and then back through the woods to the parking lot. The farming heritage is evident by the artifacts found in the woods.
