Join us for a very special evening of jazz! Alex Minasian is a NYC-based jazz pianist who is headlining with his trio throughout New England, including the Burlington Jazz Fest last summer and a recently sold out show at Scullers in Boston.
Alex has had the pleasure of being the pianist and musical director for two iconic, legendary jazz vocalists, Little Jimmy Scott and Mark Murphy. He has performed at jazz venues across the US --Dizzy's, The Blue Note in NYC, Yoshi's in San Francisco, and the House of Blues in Hollywood to name a few. He was also a professor at NYU, where he earned both his undergraduate and masters degrees in jazz performance and where he taught jazz piano. This summer they have a 3 night stand at Dizzy's at Jazz at Lincoln Center, and a performance in D.C at the Jazz in the Gardens Concert series, plus a beautiful concert planned for us at the library!

The Hanky Panky trio is featured in Season 2 of the hit Netflix show, 'Orange Is The New Black'. They have performed at the Montreal Jazz Festival with Sheila Jordan, and as a trio at the Istanbul Jazz Festival.
