Join Bonny Smith of the Wilmington Historical Commission and Town Museum to learn about the historical and cultural significance of spinning fibers through different ages, and the current practices. Bonny will also describe the anatomy of the spinning wheel and different types of wool. She will end with a demonstration of spinning using her own spinning wheel.
