Introduction to Excel

Spreadsheets are powerful data tools that organize, analyze, and display data in rows and columns using customizable functions, formulas, and tables and charts. Learn how you can use Microsoft Excel to manage personal or business finances, projects, lists, and more. This class will offer a general overview of the functionality in Excel with an opportunity for attendees to ask specific questions and to gain hands-on experience. Some laptops with Excel installed will be available for use in class, but bring your own if you have Excel installed.
Space is limited so please register. This program will be hosted in person in the library meeting room and on Zoom. The Zoom link will be included in your reminder email 24 hours before we start.
Tim Crowley has spent his career within Technology at Fidelity Investments, Santander Bank and currently as a Project Manager at Boston Scientific in Marlborough, Massachusetts . He's led technology teams for years and is currently leading an Artificial Intelligence deployment for Boston Scientific's Endoscopy division. Tim is familiar with a variety of technologies, but has found Excel to be the most impactful software ever created. It seems to be a fundamental requirement for every business, and yet individuals can use it to manage personal finances, organize home projects or even manage youth sports teams!
